There are apartments with a sea view, and there are apartments where you stand in the sand two minutes after closing the door. This is the second kind.
Sixty square metres, fully modernised, with a south-facing balcony for the hours after the beach. Made for two people who don't want to choose between quiet and short distances.
The shopping streets of Westerland are within walking distance, the station is just under a kilometre away. In between: dunes.

The apartment sits directly on the dune ridge with its own beach crossing, in a quiet position. It is roughly a hundred metres from the building to the beach.
The shopping streets of Westerland are a few minutes on foot, the nearest supermarket about six hundred metres away. Westerland station is around 950 metres — relevant if you arrive by train or by car train.

We are Carsten and Nina Hater, and this is our own apartment – no portal listing, no agency in between. When you call or write, you reach us.
We furnished it the way we like to travel ourselves: bright, uncluttered, with everything you need and nothing that gets in the way. When you arrive, nothing should be left to sort out – you should be able to put the bag down and walk over the dunes to the beach.
Tell us beforehand what you need. We will do what we can to make your time on Sylt one you remember for a long while. And because we are not always on the island ourselves, our letting service in Westerland means there is always someone nearby.

How many people is the apartment licensed for?
A maximum of two. We are not permitted to exceed that — not even if guests would bring their own extra bedding. The apartment is deliberately designed as a home for two.

About a hundred metres to the beach crossing. The building sits directly on the dune ridge, so you don't walk through town — you walk over the dunes.
